ABOUT
We get it. Social Media is a cesspool, BUT there’s always two sides to things. Amidst the online chaos, there are people who care deeply about telling positive stories, and we are one of them.
STOREYS is a ground-up initiative launched on 10th June 2019. We set to create a positive ripple in Singapore through the medium of storytelling. Piloted by CreativesAtWork and supported by IMDA, this movement will harness the power of video and social media to shed light on issues that matter, or should matter, to us as Singaporeans.
We cover the productions costs of content creators who are passionate about social issues and have a story to tell.
In 2019, after a nationwide call for concepts, 201 submissions were received. The top 30 concepts went through the next round: JUDGING AND ONLINE VOTING. At the end of August 2019, the 15 concepts were selected.
To equip the content creators to tell the best version of their story, we link them to award-winning mentors. This is democratised storytelling at it’s finest! All because we believe content creators have the power to change the world through storytelling.
